When did the impact of COVID-19 first occur to you? How did your reaction to COVID-19 change between then and the first case in your town?

In March when everything closed. Stores are open, but not the Y.

How is your life different now than it was before the pandemic?

I don't see friends so much. I don't go to the Y or the Library. I get a lot of things delivered to my house. I am more careful. I don't go to SPAC.

I am okay. I miss seeing my family and friends.

Families used to go places together. Now they go one by one and get in and out of places.

What would you want future generations to know about the 2020 pandemic? How would you recommend they prepare for it?

I would like them to know how hard it was to isolate. I would recommend that they listen when scientists tell them what to do.

How do you think this pandemic will change how we behave going forward? What will the “new normal” look like?

I think that long term, we have to learn to expect less from government.
